## Description

Wer sich fragt, welcher Fundstelle für Agent Plugins er trauen kann, bekommt bei Agent Plugins Directory ein nachvollziehbares Verfahren. Die 316 Einträge stammen aus 145 GitHub-Repositories, und jeder steht dort, weil sein Manifest abgerufen und gegen das offizielle 1.0.0-Schema von agent-plugins.org geprüft wurde, nicht weil ihn eine Suche ausgeworfen hat. Der Standard selbst ist das offene Paketformat, das OpenAI, Amazon, Cursor, Microsoft und Vercel am 6. August 2026 freigegeben haben; die Plugins laufen in ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, VS Code und Kiro. Dazu kommen ein kostenloser Validator, die gespiegelte Spezifikation, Kennzahlen, Installationsanleitungen je Client und ein wöchentlicher Newsletter.

## Problem solved

The Agent Plugins standard shipped without a registry, a search index or a validator, so there was no way to find out which plugins exist or whether a plugin.json is actually valid. This directory fetches every manifest and checks it against the official 1.0.0 schema before publishing the entry, and the validator lets anyone check their own manifest before they publish it.
